This seminar will highlight why it is critical to consider HCV elimination among people who inject drugs. It will discuss some of the successful features of HCV elimination efforts in Australia and globally and highlight some countries that have made progress to date. Lastly, it will consider some of the remaining challenges to achieve HCV elimination in PWID globally.

Professor Jason Grebely is Head of the Hepatitis and Drug Use Group at the Kirby Institute, Â鶹Éçmadou. He isÌýalso President of the International Network on Health and Hepatitis in Substance Users (INHSU) and co-editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Drug Policy.
