Abstract

Struwe solutions are well-known in the study of harmonic map heat flow and related equations. These globally weak solutions are smooth away from at most finitely many singularities. We aim to explore their stochastic counterpart, where the criterion, time of occurrence and location of singularities need to be reformulated in a stochastic setting. We first review the deterministic case, then outline key steps towards the stochastic case, and finally discuss the regularity assumptions imposed on the noise. This talk/series of talks is based on joint work with Ben Goldys (USYD) and Christof Melcher (RWTH Aachen University).
