Mr Greg Hammond
Greg is a ‘pracademic’ combining substantial professional experience in the development and delivery of highly complex, international projects with lecturing postgraduate project management at Âé¶¹Éçmadou. He is currently the Coordinator of the Master of Project Management Program and lead academic on the Master of Project Management (Specialisation). He is a member of the Australian Institute of Project Management (former Certified Practicing Project Director) with a MEngSci in Project Management.Â
His expertise includes complex procurement and contract negotiations, contract management, contract dispute resolution, contemporary governance, proactive risk engagement, project change management, and fostering collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholder groups.Â
His project roles include, Project Director ACT/SNSW Defence Infrastructure Division, Director of Project Delivery Branch, Property & Construction Division, Department of Finance (DoF), Executive Director of Capital Works & Infrastructure, Justice & Community Safety (JACS) Directorate, ACT Government, and the Assistant Secretary of the Project Management Branch, Overseas Property Office, Department of Foreign Affairs (DFAT). Greg is also recognised as an industry project management professional in his long-term engagement on the Australian Department of Finance, and New Zealand Treasury Gateway Project Assurance Review Panels.Â
