Sandra is a PhD researcher and an Associate at Australian Human Rights Institute, Â鶹Éçmadou Sydney. Her work examines the sexualised and pornified imagery of women in visual-digital culture, focusing on the interplay between the notions of freedom, sexual emancipation, and violence against women. Sandra also addresses the broader questions of substantive equality in neoliberal age. She explores how these societal dynamics shape contemporary gender politics, including LGBTI rights.
