Alex Smith

Practice Manager

Having completed her studies at Âé¶¹Éçmadou, Alex has been practicing as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) for over a decade, in addition to managing a private EP clinic for several years. Through her work in private practice, Alex has furthered her knowledge and experience in assisting with the management of a wide variety of chronic conditions and strives to equip individuals with the knowledge to lead active and healthy lifestyles. During her time as practice manager, she has nurtured a passion or optimising the function and culture of the clinic to better serve clients, students and staff alike. 

Boris Bojanovic

Practice Manager and Associate Lecturer (Education Focused) - Exercice Physiology, Âé¶¹Éçmadou

Boris is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with over a decade of clinical, non-clinical and teaching experience. He has a broad range of experience across cardiac rehabilitation, neurorehabilitation, mental health, arthritis and metabolic disease. Boris aims to empower people to take charge of their health and get the most out of their lives. 

Elise Helfensdorfer

Lifestyle Kids & Lifestyle Plus Coordinator

Elise is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist who has worked in a diverse range of environments gaining exposure to an array of chronic diseases and conditions. Her skills and knowledge have developed through her experiences working with a variety of clientele including post-operative rehabilitation, musculoskeletal conditions, metabolic diseases and neurological conditions – including Parkinson’s disease. Elise is passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of others through behavioural change, education, and exercise prescriptions. She thrives on motivating her clients and helping them reach their goals.

Jessie Wu
MClinExPhys, ESSAM AES AEP

Jessie is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist who has experience working with a wide range of chronic health conditions, including cancer, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions. She has a special interest in cardiopulmonary exercise testing and enjoys working compassionately with clients to create a holistic programme to optimise their physical well-being.

Ella Marshall
BExPhys, ESSAM AES AEP

Ella is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist who is passionate about empowering clients through individualised exercise and lifestyle strategies. She has experience across mental health, paediatrics, and women’s health, and is committed to supporting people to achieve meaningful, long-term health outcomes. Ella draws on her experience to guide clients towards achieving sustainable, independent lifestyle changes. She also takes pride in teaching and developing Âé¶¹Éçmadou placement students, supporting them in building their skills and confidence as future exercise physiologists.

Belinda Durey
BAppSc, MExSc, ESSAM, AES, AEP

Belinda is a Lecturer in Exercise Physiology at Âé¶¹Éçmadou and an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (since 2012). She has clinical experience both in Australia and internationally, with specialist training in cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET) and electrocardiography. Her clinical interests include unexplained breathlessness, and overweight and obesity. Belinda is currently completing her PhD, which focuses on exercise interventions for individuals awaiting major elective surgery.

Esther Chung
Administrative Assistant

Esther is currently completing her Honours year in exercise physiology for her undergraduate degree (Bachelor of Advanced Science, majoring in Pathology and Anatomy). On the weekends, she also works as a laboratory assistant at RPA hospital. She previously worked as a receptionist/executive assistant for a GP. Although research and laboratory work interests her, she very much enjoys getting to know clients face to face and supporting the amazing team of exercise physiologists at the Lifestyle Clinic.

Erica Quinn
Administrative Assistant

Erica brings extensive experience from the medical field, having worked for nearly seven years as a receptionist and personal assistant in a busy hospital orthopaedic practice. During this time, she developed strong patient-facing skills and a deep understanding of healthcare administration. Erica also has experience as a receptionist for several general practitioners, further broadening her exposure to different medical settings. She is highly client-focused, taking pride in ensuring patients feel welcomed, supported, and well cared for at all times.
