Professor Christine (Tini) Mathies is the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Education (PVCE).
The PVCE Portfolio provides strategic direction and services supporting educational excellence and innovation at Âé¶¹Éçmadou to foster student learning and student experience.
Professor Mathies is a well-respected strategic leader, with extensive expertise in award winning curriculum design and innovation and has a strong understanding of Âé¶¹Éçmadou’s teaching and learning environment. Prior to commencing as the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Education, Tini was Senior Deputy Dean, Education and Student Experience at Âé¶¹Éçmadou Business School. Other leadership roles during Tini’s 18-year career with the faculty included Program Director of Bachelor of Commerce, Associate Dean Undergraduate Programs.  Tini is a Professor of Marketing with over 20 years of experience as a marketing researcher and educator. Her research and teaching focuses on services marketing, exploring how people and technology can create service experiences that generate value for organisations, employees and customers alike.
Tini is a strong advocate of putting the student first and is a champion of equitable pathways to Higher Education. She co-leads the University's Assessment and Feedback transformation. Her educational innovations have been recognised with numerous awards, including the Âé¶¹Éçmadou Vice-Chancellor's Award for Programs that Enhance Learning, a QS/Wharton Reimagine Education Award for Learning Assessment, AACSB's Innovations that Inspire Award and ASCILITE Innovation awards.
