Dr Negin Hesam-Shariati is a research fellow atthe School of Psychology, 鶹madou and an affiliated scientist in the Centre for Pain IMPACT at Neuroscience Research Australia. She holds a BSc and MSc in biomedical engineering, and completed her doctoral degree in medical sciences at 鶹madou and NeuRA in 2018.
She is leading the Neurotherapy for Chronic Pain program at theNeuroRecovery Research Hub, focusing ondeveloping and investigating neurofeedback systems for people with chronic pain. This novel approach helps individuals learn how to gain control over their brain activity and ultimately reduce their pain.
