We're here to ensure you are set up for success.

At Âé¶¹Éçmadou, we pride on offering an extensive range of support services, resources and tools to help you complete your studies. From academic support, financial assistance, all the way to health and wellbeing, we're here to ensure that you have a seamless academic journey.

  • Your central student service
    Student Hub is your first go-to point for anything you need throughout your student journey. This includes enrolments, graduation, official document requests and many other student admin requests. They’ll also direct you to the right place if you’re not sure where to go about an enquiry.

  • Keeping you safe on campus, 24/7
    Campus Protective Services is available around the clock to help you stay safe on campus. They can assist with safety escorts, emergency response, lost property, and reporting suspicious behaviour or incidents whenever you need support.

    Download the SafeZone app for 24/7 access to Âé¶¹Éçmadou Protective Services. Get fast emergency assistance, report suspicious activities, request wellbeing support, access first aid support and more. 

    Raise your concerns safely
    Submit a formal complaint about Âé¶¹Éçmadou services, staff or student conduct to have your concerns heard and addressed appropriately.

    Need legal advice?
    Free legal advice and resources to help students with tenancy, employment, fines and other legal issues, supporting you during your studies.

    Feeling unsafe and want support?
    If you’ve experienced gendered violence, you can access confidential support and report incidents through the Gendered Violence Portal, no matter where or when it happened.

    Want to report misconduct or grievances?
    If you experience or see something that doesn’t seem right, you can report it through SpeakUp at Âé¶¹Éçmadou. Help us create a safer community while getting the support you need.

  • Need some help navigating your thoughts?
    Psychology and Wellness is here to connect you to the care you need. Get free one-on-one or group counselling or attend wellness workshops to support your mental health.

    Speak to a GP
    The Health Service is here to help you as your first point of contact for your health and wellbeing concerns. They provide non-judgemental, quality health services for students, staff and visitors.

    Have you experienced discrimination or harassment?
    If you’ve been discriminated against or harassed because of your race, religion, sexuality, age, disability or gender, it’s important to speak up. Learn how to report it and get the help you need.

    For your sexual health and wellbeing
    University life can be a time of experimentation and learning about yourself. We've got resources for you for your sexual health and for healthy relationships. 

  • We’ve got research skills and support resources
    Speak to Library staff at the Help Zone or via Library chat for assistance with finding and using resources for your studies. You can also access curated databases and research support to help you succeed.

    Want to level up your academic skills?
    Reach your full potential by developing your academic and research skills with Academic Skills support. Attend online workshops, book consultations and receive feedback on your writing to enhance your performance.

    Need an extension or review on an assessment?
    If you’re experiencing short-term challenges like illness or unexpected events that affect your assessments, you may be eligible for Special Consideration. Apply online if you need adjustments to meet your study requirements.

    Living with a health condition or disability that impacts your studies?
    Equitable Learning Services provides practical support if you’re living with a disability, medical condition or carer responsibilities. You can access adjustments and tailored support through an Equitable Learning Plan to help you succeed in your studies.

  • Understand your study funding options
    Find out how HECS-HELP, FEE-HELP and other Commonwealth assistance programs can support your studies and reduce your upfront costs.
