Improve the accessibility of ±«±·³§°Â’s built environment and facilities
Âé¶¹Éçmadou is continuing to embed a stronger commitment to accessible environments into our policies, processes and practices. This is being achieved through:Ìý
- An accessibility audit of Kensington campus to build a stronger awareness of the accessibility improvements required.Ìý
- The inclusion of accessibility requirements and Universal Design principles in ±«±·³§°Â’sÌýFuture Campus Principles: Pillar four: Campus experience which will inform the University’s next Campus Master Plan and Asset Management Plan
- Upgrades and improvements to the Australian Defense Force Academy (ADFA) campus in Canberra in response to the 2021 Design for Dignity audit.  
 Additionally, an Autism Friendly Campus audit has been undertaken by Aspect Australia of our Kensington Campus to inform improvements and ensure neuroinclusive environments at Âé¶¹Éçmadou.  
Improve ±«±·³§°Â’s digital accessibility
- Âé¶¹Éçmadou Website developers strive for 2.2 AA for Âé¶¹Éçmadou websites. Accessibility assessments are scheduled prior to the launch of new websites and when new components have been designed.Ìý
- Accessibility information has been included in the to assist staff in ensuring that digital content is accessible.Ìý

Improve the accessibility of ±«±·³§°Â’s procurement processes and services for staff
Âé¶¹Éçmadou has updated the supplier charter to include a commitment to accessibility and disability inclusion:Ìý
- Identify and implement opportunities for supply chain diversity which may include, but are not limited to, Indigenous owned businesses, social enterprises, women owned business, disability enterprises, LGBTQIA+ communities and other diverse businesses. 
-  Strive to provide products and services which are accessible to our Âé¶¹Éçmadou community, and which demonstrate compliance to accessibility standards. 
±«±·³§°Â’s Procurement manual has been updated to include a commitment to accessible products and services.Ìý
Improve communications, marketing and event tools for staff and students 
Âé¶¹Éçmadou has developed a range of guidelines and resources for staff to ensure they are delivering accessible marketing, communications and events.Ìý
This includes: 
- Brand hub with updated templates. 
- Accessible & Inclusive Events Hub with resources and how to guides. 
- with Accessibility inclusion information for developers.
